Mignon Garland invited Hortense Kooluris to perform with her at as part of a conference on Women in Transition, sponsored by the National Organization for Women at the U.C. Berkeley campus on March 6, 1971. The program included a slide presentation by Hortense and a dance entitled "Dance Sequence from Women's History" choreographed and performed by Mignon. The pianist was Stephen Robert Frankel. The first page is a publicity flyer for the event.
