Ellen Forman

Ellen Forman was a Duncan dance teacher and a strong, successful post-modern dance performer, whose life was tragically cut short at age 45 by a car accident. In 1974 she was the co-founder of South Street Dance Company, Philadelphia. Honored by the National Endowment for the Arts, Ellen was known for blending language, theatre and visual arts before it became popular to do so.
