Tokyo Performances, 1985
From The Collection of Mignon Garland
Mignon and her protege Ann Cogley (left of Mignon) traveled to Tokyo in 1985, where they joined Mary Sano (right of Mignon) and Mary Sano's Tokyo Duncan Dancers in a full recital of Isadora Duncan choreography at the Ichibankance Dance Theatre. The performance was produced and arranged by Mignon's protege Mary Sano. The second photo is from a dinner outing in Tokyo. Left to right are: Mariko Mori, a silk dye artist, Mignon Garland, Mary Sano and Ann Cogley. The third image is an announcement of a separate performance at the Third Annual Modern Dance Festival at the Musashimo Cultural Center during this visit.
