From The Collection of Mignon Garland
1977
Mignon Garland's San Francisco Duncan Dancers performed the Centennial Program on May 27, 1977 at the Colonial Concert Hall, Saint Francis Hotel, to rave reviews. Through Mignon's efforts, the Mayor of San Francisco, George Moscone, proclaimed May 26, 1977 Isadora Duncan Centenary Day. The same week there was also an exhibit of Isadora Duncan memorabilia at the San Francisco Museum of Performance and Design.
