Notes
Victoria Sloat
Lovely, light hearted dances often taught to children, Isadora's dances to Schubert waltzes are beautiful examples of the fusion of Isadora's Classical love of form and Romantic play of feeling. One glimpses evanescent archetypal imagery fully brought to life by the dancer's breath and buoyant body. The dances are always serene and harmonious, no matter how blustery or playful. They have an beautiful simplicity and wholeness.
