Elena (Lyola) Terentieva, born in 1913, Moscow. After an audition at the Duncan Moscow School that included walking slowly to a Schubert slow march, a difficult skip and a polka, Lyola was accepted into the school in 1921. Terentieva danced with Isadora and Irma throughout the time of the school. After the Isadora Duncan Dancers Moscow return from the USA tour, Terentieva became the artistic director 1939 until 1949 when the Isadora Duncan State Moscow Studio closed.
